--About the Role--
We’re seeking a forward-thinking Web and Software Developer who can leverage cutting-edge AI tools to create modern, efficient, and scalable solutions. As the technical expert in our team, you’ll collaborate closely with me—an entrepreneur with big ideas but limited technical expertise—to build web applications, tools, and platforms that improve business efficiency and innovation.

This role starts as part-time (20 hours/week) but has the potential to grow into a full-time position as we expand. You’ll have access to subscriptions for the best AI coding tools to help supercharge your productivity and creativity.

--Key Responsibilities--
AI-Enhanced Development:
Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex) to write, troubleshoot, and optimize code.
Explore and recommend the best AI tools and workflows for faster, more effective development.
Web and Software Development:

Build, maintain, and improve web applications, tools, and WordPress-based platforms.
Handle API integrations and database connections to create seamless user experiences.
Ensure the use of modern and scalable technologies to future-proof projects.
Version Control and Collaboration:

Use GitHub for version control, branching, merging, and collaboration.
Manage feature updates and maintain a clear history of code changes.

Technical Advisor:
Translate high-level ideas into actionable technical solutions.
Recommend the best tools, frameworks, and technologies to achieve business goals.

Deployment and Maintenance:
Deploy applications using platforms like Vercel, AWS, or WordPress hosting.
Monitor, update, and troubleshoot applications to ensure long-term stability and performance.

Project Management Support:
Work with me to manage feature requests and progress using tools like GitHub Projects, Trello, or Notion.
Provide regular updates and documentation for all tasks and projects.
What We’re Looking For

--Experience:--

3+ years of web or software development experience.
Proven experience using AI tools for coding and problem-solving or an eagerness to try it out - bolt.new, windsurf ai, replit etc.
Proficiency in GitHub for version control, branching, and managing feature updates.
Familiarity with workflow management tools like GitHub Projects, Trello, or Notion.
Knowledge of modern web technologies (React, Next.js, Node.js, WordPress) and backend frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.).
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Firebase, or MongoDB) and API integrations.
Previous experience deploying and maintaining web apps.

Skills:--
Ability to identify and utilize the best AI tools to accelerate development.
Strong understanding of web development workflows, including WordPress and front-end/back-end frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills for debugging and optimizing AI-generated code.
