Part-Time Web Developer (PHP, MySQL, HTML, JS) – Ongoing Maintenance & Development

We are looking for a part-time web developer to help maintain and update a set of websites. The work primarily involves making edits, implementing small features, adjusting designs, and managing subpages as needed. Occasionally, new website development may be required, with bonus payments for such projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform website maintenance, including fixing bugs and updating content.
Add, remove, or modify subpages, text, and features as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently (there is no documentation or previous developer to assist).
Implement small design changes when required.
Roll out updates and fixes in a timely manner.
(Bonus) If you can build new websites from scratch, additional payments can be arranged.


Requirements:

Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Ability to read and understand existing code without guidance.
Strong problem-solving skills and independent debugging abilities.
Experience with custom-built websites (not just WordPress).
Must be available when required and able to deliver work promptly.


Nice to Have (Bonus Skills):

Ability to develop new websites from scratch.
Experience with front-end frameworks (optional but a plus).
Basic design skills for UI/UX improvements.


Compensation:

$600/month for approximately 20 hours per week. Working hours are flexible, if there's nothing to do then you might not have to do anything at times.
Bonus payments for new website projects.

Long-term, stable work for the right candidate.
