HelpSite is a simple, modern knowledge base platform that helps businesses create searchable FAQs and internal documentation. While we’ve been running profitably for years, we’re now investing in a full UI/UX refresh to modernize our product and marketing site, paving the way for the next wave of new features we're building. We’re looking for a talented UX Designer to help us improve usability, aesthetics, and conversion rates.
Your Role & Challenges
- Own the user experience for our web-based SaaS product, from concept to implementation.
- Conduct UX analysis to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Design intuitive user interfaces, ensuring clear navigation and an optimized user flow.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and design assets using a UI toolkit or component library.
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs using Bootstrap 5.
- Improve onboarding flows, trial-to-paid conversion, and site navigation.
- Ensure consistency and usability across all design elements.
- Participate in user research and testing to refine the product experience.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a UX designer, product designer, or interaction designer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web application and SaaS UI/UX work.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Experience designing with Bootstrap 5 or similar UI frameworks.
- Ability to balance aesthetic appeal with usability and functionality.
- Strong communication skills—able to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to manage projects efficiently.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or front-end frameworks.
- Experience working in a SaaS startup or a remote tech company.
- Interest in product strategy and helping define feature priorities.
