Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to help grow our presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. In this part-time role, you will use raw footage provided to craft engaging, platform-optimized content. The goal is to produce one short-form video daily, with flexibility to create up to three on busier days. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining the tone and style of our brand. A test project will be required during the application process to evaluate your skills and fit for the role.

Responsibilities:

- Edit and produce short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts using raw footage provided.
- Ensure videos align with platform-specific trends and are optimized for engagement and reach.
- Add captions, graphics, effects, and transitions to enhance video quality and viewer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, particularly within legal, true crime, and storytelling niches.
- Upload finalized videos to a shared platform for review and ensure timely delivery of daily content.
- Communicate effectively with the team to prioritize and manage content production schedules.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in editing and producing short-form content for social media (examples required).
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut).
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube’s algorithms and audience preferences.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with legal or true crime content is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication.
