Paralegal Position – Lionsgate Financial Group

About Us:
Lionsgate Financial Group is a mortgage brokerage operating in four Canadian provinces, providing expert financial solutions to clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in Canadian legal processes, particularly in real estate, contract, and business law.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file lawsuits online, issue demand letters, and apply liens.
Conduct title searches and manage legal due diligence.
Organize and prepare files for legal proceedings and liaise with our lawyer.
Handle collection files, including making arrangements and collection calls based on a scheduled program.
Draft and issue legal demands and emails related to mortgage and loan collections.
Provide legal support in contract and business law matters, with a focus on real estate transactions.
Required Skills & Experience:
? Minimum 3+ years of experience in mortgage and loan-related legal work (ESSENTIAL – Do Not Apply Without This)
? 3+ years of experience in sales or customer service (ESSENTIAL – Do Not Apply Without This)
? Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex financial and legal data.
? Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
? Familiarity with Canadian contract law, business law, and real estate regulations.
? Ability to work efficiently on CAD shifts and PH holidays.
? Open to working night shifts if required.
