Python Developer (OCR & Web Scraping) – Remote Work

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with expertise in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and web scraping to help us extract data from a website. The role will require working with Python-based OCR tools and possibly Chromedriver for browser automation.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop a Python script to scrape data from a website using OCR technology.
• Implement Optical Character Recognition (OCR) techniques to extract text from images on the site.
• Optimize OCR processing for accuracy, including handling handwritten text where possible.
• Use Chromedriver (Selenium or similar tools) for browser automation if necessary.
• Handle structured and unstructured data, ensuring correct extraction and formatting.
• Troubleshoot and improve OCR accuracy over time.

Requirements:
• Strong experience in Python and OCR technologies (Tesseract OCR, EasyOCR, or similar tools).
• Proficiency in web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup, Selenium, or Scrapy.
• Familiarity with Chromedriver for automated browsing.
• Experience in preprocessing images to improve OCR accuracy.
• Ability to handle and clean extracted data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience working with OCR on handwritten text is required
