The Role
We are currently looking for someone to join our team as Operations Planner. This is an exciting new role that will be central to our operations and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and analyse orders, production schedules and crew availability
• Efficiently plan and schedule the full Global installation calendar
• Co-ordinate with production and finance teams to ensure stock availability
• Liaise with suppliers re materials required for schedule fulfilment
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure optimal allocation of resources
• Identify potential scheduling conflicts, monitor logistics, and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities
• Manage processes and controls that ensure customer orders are rigorously checked
• Challenge efficiency and explore options for improvement of workflows
• Generate and communicate clear plans, keeping all stakeholders informed
• Be mindful of efficiency, wastage and risks. Produce reports to monitor these and highlight key management information

Requirements
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent general IT skills and experience using Excel, Word etc
• Ability to work as part of a team & independently
• Good communication and relationship skills
Desirable Requirements
• Experience working in planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, logistics, project management or a lean process environment
• General understanding of building or manufacturing environments
• Technical aptitude
