We are on the lookout for an Operations Director who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals. This role involves managing resources, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement operational strategies that support the organization's mission and objectives.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success.
Operations Management
• Oversee all operational functions, including supply chain, logistics, facilities, and technology.
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient processes and systems to improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Leadership and Team Management
• Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams across multiple departments.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for tea
Financial Oversight
• Manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Partner with the finance team to forecast and control operational expenses.
• Evaluate investments in tools, technologies, and resources to maximize ROI.
Risk Management
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization.
• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure operational resilience.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Skills and Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
