Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and experienced Near-Native English-speaking Online Elementary Teachers with strong backgrounds in World History. The ideal candidates will have experience teaching young learners in these subject areas and are committed to creating a supportive and engaging online learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide intensive English and World History instruction to individuals and small groups of 2-6 students aged 5-15.
Utilize international-standard curriculums.
Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
Professional Teacher with at least 2 years of teaching experience (Kindergarten-Grade 6) and verifiable teaching certifications such as TESOL, TEFL, etc.
Near-native accent in English.
Strong academic background in English, Science, Economics and/or World History.
Ability to work between 17:00-22:00 (Weekdays) and 9:00-22:00 (Weekends) GMT+8.
Experience teaching in public/international schools or online classes.
Experience working with young learners aged 5-15.
Preferably experienced with the following curriculums: Reach Higher, A Closer Look, Great Writing, Think, Unlock, and Reading Explorer.
Familiarity with ClassIn and digital literacy (Microsoft Suite and other educational platforms).
Must have a stable and fast internet connection and a PC/laptop with at least Windows 10/Mac OS Catalina.
