Odoo ERP / CRM System Specialist

We are a small (10-person) business in UK and are looking for a skilled person to initially set up ODOO CRM, Database & Marketing - and lead and support the migration from existiing NetSuite ERP to ODOO (including; Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Back-to-back Purchase etc.) by early April 2025. Possible further refining of above and additional ODOO App set up and development (Website, Project, Sign etc.) following the above and potential to provide on-going solution support.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the migration from NetSuite into the Odoo ERP system, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Configure and customise Odoo modules to meet the specific requirements of the business operation
• Collaborate with personnel and gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the Odoo integration and operation
• Provide training and support to users to ensure effective utilization of the integrated system.
Qualifications:
• Applicable qualifications / demonstratable experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Odoo Specialist
• Strong knowledge of Odoo ERP / CRM systems and its modules.
• Knowledge and experience of NetSuite
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of business processes including sales, accounting and operations.
• Ability to grasp the specific needs of the business, provide joined up thinking and to simplify, improve and deliver value-added solutions as part of the above
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Certification in Odoo and also NetSuite.
