OTA Optimization Specialist

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Revenue, the OTA Optimization Specialist will be responsible for supporting key account management within the channels and distribution function. This role ensures all properties are connected and optimized on our online partner platforms. You will analyze the performance of each channel, report back to the business with action plans, and maximize the performance of each property. Additionally, you will work closely with OTA managers to review current trends, algorithm changes, and new opportunities, as well as explore potential OTA partnerships or revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Maximize distribution and optimize product listings on OTA sites.
Launch new units ensuring consistency and setting up different channels
Analyze data to identify issues for resolution and opportunities for improvement.
Implement and manage date or system changes to enhance channel performance.
Assist in the development and execution of promotional campaigns and special offers on OTA platforms.
Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all OTA listings.
Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
1 year of progressive experience in travel industry revenue management, travel industry distribution/channel management, and/or hotel operations.
Understanding of the industry's distribution and channel landscape, with interest in emerging trends in the accommodation industry as it relates to OTAs and Meta search channels.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and results in writing and through presentations.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review numbers and draw conclusions about performance and the impact of various projects and/or technology solutions.
Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to work simultaneously on multiple initiatives and priorities.
Self-starter, exhibiting initiative and confidence.
