Nurse only Full-time with minimum 3 years VA Experience

We are a psychiatry practice that provides mental health services to individuals via telepsychiatry and in the outpatient setting in Florida. We are seeking a dynamic, fun, and knowledgeable individual with English and Spanish proficiency to join our team.

Key Qualifications:
A candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience with credentialing healthcare providers with health insurance companies.
A candidate that will facilitate and ensure a warm and welcoming environment for patients, guests, and visitors from initial contact and provide a warm hand-off at departure.
A candidate with the ability to create a smooth office operation.
Strong English skills and ability to speak easily to patients.
Spanish speaking is a plus***
A registered nurse would be an asset.

Duties:
Calling insurance panels daily to verify patients' eligibility for psychiatric visits
Candidate responsibilities will include making, directing, and courteously answering phone calls. Scheduling patients, interacting with insurance companies, and general administrative duties (including writing blogs, drafting emails, and organizing and maintaining digital and paper files or records).
The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to escalate patient questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
