Novel Translator & Editor (English to Tagalog/Filipino)

We are an independent app company dedicated to translating English novels into Tagalog. We are seeking an editor to review and refine translated text, ensuring accuracy and natural readability. This role involves reading novels and collaborating with our development team to enhance our translation algorithm.

Position Type: Gig project work to start (10 hours). Opportunity to extend hours and/or grow into a part-time or full-time position in the future.

Time Zone: Must be available during Eastern Time Zone (EST)

Proposed Compensation: $6.00 USD/hour to start with opportunities for increase. $60 USD for the initial project

Tasks and Skills:
Eye for detail
Excellent English reading and writing comprehension
Fluent in Tagalog / Filipino reading and writing
Ability to clearly follow instructions
High level of organization and ability to prioritize work
Self-starter and takes initiative
Must have your own computer and fast internet connection
