JOB OVERVIEW

We are a 6+ year established e-commerce business that sells items such as wall art, blankets, and pillows. We are seeking a new customer support team member to work with us 5+ days per week. Strong English written command is necessary for this position. The primary duties will involve handling our day-to-day customer support interactions via email, online messages, and text only; NO inbound/outbound calls are required for this job.

The ideal candidate will:

1. Have a quick and dependable internet connection, and can show up each day to communicate with our team via Skype & Google Hangouts.

2. Be able to write English grammar at a high level (to avoid misspellings in communications with customers about the products and their orders).

3. Be able to work 40 hours/5 days per week, and somewhere in the hours between 8am and 9pm US Central Standard Time. Training hours will vary from 6 pm CST onwards but may change after training.

4. Be very detail-oriented and self-motivated on tasks.

5. This position will be consistent and long-term for the right candidate. The first 2-3 weeks of training will be at $1/hour, as we'll need to cover resources to ensure you're properly trained; once you've proven you're capable and able to work without supervision, we'll increase the pay to $2/hour within the first 30 days training, and then to $3/hour after the first 60 days with us. Paid weekly, each Thursday CST.
