About Us:
Lionsgate Financial Group is a well-established mortgage brokerage operating in multiple Canadian provinces. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join our team for a full-time, long-term position.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze financial documents including T1 Generals, T4s, and bank statements.
Assess debt service ratios (GDS/TDS) to determine mortgage eligibility.
Order and review appraisals to validate property values.
Work closely with lenders and clients to structure mortgage deals.
Make outbound calls to clients to ensure files progress efficiently.
Achieve closing targets within given deadlines.
Complete full company training and follow underwriting guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with a Canadian mortgage brokerage (ESSENTIAL – Do Not Apply Without This)
- Strong knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines and lending policies.
- Ability to work full-time with no other job commitments.
- Comfortable making calls to clients and lenders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent financial analysis skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to meet strict deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Salary: $1,100 CAD/month + Bonuses up to $500/month based on performance.
Volume Bonuses & Salary Increases for long-term employees.
