Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mockup Generator & Product Customization Engineer to lead the development of a dynamic garment mockup system. This system will allow users to:
- Upload, generate, and customize garment mockups in real-time.
- Precisely match and modify colors to align with uploaded designs.
- Implement high-fidelity color rendering and material simulations for accurate previews.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and integrate a custom garment mockup generator within our existing MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
Build and optimize real-time graphics rendering using Canvas, WebGL (Three.js, PixiJS, Fabric.js), or SVG technologies.
Implement color science algorithms for precise color matching and generation between garments.
Utilize image processing libraries (Sharp, OpenCV.js, or ImageMagick) to handle garment textures and color adjustments.
Develop backend APIs in Node.js & Express.js to support dynamic mockup generation.
Ensure seamless integration with AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, Rekognition, CloudFront) for high-performance image processing and storage.
Optimize performance for fast loading and responsive design across devices.
Work closely with UI/UX designers to build an intuitive user interface for mockup editing.
Conduct testing and debugging using Jest, Mocha, or Cypress to maintain high-quality performance.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend and backend development with expertise in React.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Proficiency in Canvas, WebGL (Three.js, PixiJS, Fabric.js), or other rendering libraries.
- Strong knowledge of color science, color conversion algorithms, and image processing.
- Experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, CloudFront, Rekognition, etc.) for image handling and processing.
- Familiarity with AI/ML (TensorFlow.js, PyTorch, OpenCV) for automated color matching (a plus).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and MongoDB.
- Understanding of e-commerce and POD workflows (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with 3D modeling/rendering (Three.js, Babylon.js, Blender integrations).
- Familiarity with AI-powered image recognition and color detection.
- Previous experience in e-commerce or garment customization platforms.
