We're now expanding our capabilities and are looking for a Mobile App Developer to join our fully remote team and help us bring high-performance mobile apps to life. This role is ideal for someone passionate about solving real business problems through clean, user-friendly, and scalable mobile experiences.
Position Overview
This remote role is for a talented and self-motivated Mobile App Developer with proven experience building applications for both iOS and Android, especially those that utilize Google Maps and API integrations. You’ll play a critical role in creating mobile apps that sync with our backend systems, power up client experiences, and integrate seamlessly into the sales and marketing ecosystems we build.
Responsibilities
Design and develop mobile applications that work beautifully across iOS and Android
Integrate Google Maps, Places, and Directions APIs for location-based functionality
Write clean, testable, and efficient code with long-term maintainability in mind
Troubleshoot and resolve app performance issues and bugs
Collaborate with other developers, designers, and project leads to define and implement features
Connect apps to custom backend services and APIs
Stay up to date on industry trends and recommend emerging tools/tech as needed
Ensure apps are tested, documented, and meet our internal quality standards
Participate in sprint planning and milestone check-ins
Work independently and communicate proactively in a remote environment
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience building and launching mobile apps on both platforms
Portfolio demonstrating successful app deployments (App Store/Google Play or GitHub)
Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C (iOS) and Java/Kotlin (Android)
Experience with React Native, Flutter, or another cross-platform framework
Strong background in Google Maps SDK, Places API, and similar services
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Highly self-motivated and able to work without micro-management
Bonus Points
Experience with location-based services and geofencing
Understanding of offline data storage/sync strategies
Familiarity with push notifications and in-app messaging
Knowledge of App Store/Play Store submission requirements
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of mobile security best practices
Exposure to Agile/Scrum workflow
