Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Server Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Servers and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server administration, cloud infrastructure, and a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies. Experience with AutoCAD Autodesk is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Server Administration: Manage, monitor, and maintain Microsoft server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Cloud Management: Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline server operations, backups, and updates.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure server and cloud environments meet security standards and compliance requirements, implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for server-related issues, working closely with support teams and clients to resolve problems efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of server configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support project implementation and client requirements.

Qualifications

- Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Server technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including deployment and management
- Familiarity with server virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AutoCAD Autodesk, particularly in server environments
- Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPNs

- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication in English and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or similar are highly desirable
