Job Title: Medical VA - Biller & Coder [R-QCHH-1]
Position Type: Full Time (40 hours/week) with potential increased hours
Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Work Days: Monday to Friday & weekends (flexibility required)
Salary: $5 - $6 per hour (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Medical VA - Biller & Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a licensed professional with a strong background in medical billing, coding, and EMR/Clearing House platforms.

This role requires someone who does not need to be micromanaged and is a leader in their respective field. The candidate must be able to take ownership of their responsibilities, work efficiently, and contribute proactively to the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:
*Handle medical billing & coding tasks with accuracy
*Work with EHR/EMR platforms – WellSky/Kinnser
*Manage claims processing using clearinghouse platforms (Waystar)
*Communicate effectively via email, CRM & messaging apps
*Participate in virtual meetings when required (Zoom, Google Meet)
*Be a self-starter & demonstrate leadership in responsibilities
*Ability to work without micromanagement
*Maintain strong attention to detail and work efficiently

Requirements:
*Must be an experienced Medical Biller & Coder (having a license is preferred/a plus)
*Experience in home health care billing is a plus
*Proficiency in EHR systems (WellSky/Kinnser) is a plus
*Familiarity with Waystar, G-Suite & Slack, is a plus
*Strong English communication skills (written & spoken)
*Must not have any other clients or commitments during working hours
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Technical Requirements:
*Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer
*Internet: High-speed connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
*Audio: Noise-canceling headset
*Video: Webcam for virtual meetings
*Workspace: Quiet, professional environment
