Medical Virtual Scribe
A Medical Virtual Scribe specializes in taking information about the patient in the presence of the physician during a live or recorded medical consultation and examination. Looking for intelligent, smart, hardworking, and individuals willing to learn with good customer skills. Need US Healthcare experience.
• Medical field: Neurology, Brain Injury, Pain Medicine.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately & thoroughly document medical visits and procedures performed by the Physician/Nurse practitioner
• Capturing and transcribing consultations (physician-preferred formats), diagnostic test results, notes from other providers,
and patient management plan/health teaching
• Create and send laboratory or imaging orders through different platforms and follow up on results accordingly
• Review and prepares medical charts before and after the consultation
• Documenting completed procedures and ensuring medical record compliance through self-attestation documentation
• Providing administrative support duties which include but are not limited to data entry, appointment scheduling,
management, and record management
• Establishing a professional relationship with medical professionals and patients by acting as a primary liaison between
patients and providers
• Strictly adhering and complying with the HIPAA policy
• Assist in coordinating and managing telemedicine sessions for Spanish-speaking patients.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries or concerns from patients.
• Conduct pre visit triage and follow-up calls with patients to monitor their progress and answer any additional questions.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have excellent verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills
• Graduate of any allied 4-year medical course (RN or MBBS, MD is a plus).
• At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Scribe for a US-based healthcare provider
• Typing Speed of at least 60 WPM
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience in using and navigating EMR/s – Tebra (formerly Kareo)
• Intermediate skills with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Computer savvy
