Mechanical Insulation Estimator

We are a reputable mechanical insulation contractor seeking a detail-oriented, skilled Mechanical Insulation Estimator to join our team. Our projects require precise material takeoffs and labor calculations to ensure competitive and accurate bidding.

Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough takeoffs and quantity surveys from blueprints and specifications
Utilize FastWrap software to create detailed material and labor estimates
Evaluate project requirements, specifications, and technical documentation
Research material costs and maintain updated pricing database
Prepare comprehensive bid packages and estimate reports
Communicate with project managers to clarify technical requirements
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards
Meet estimation deadlines to ensure timely bid submissions

Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical insulation, HVAC, or Plumbing estimating
Experience with FastWrap estimating software
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, ductwork, and equipment insulation
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable internet connection and home office setup
