JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager

DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing

REPORTS TO: CEO/President


BASIC FUNCTION:

A Marketing Manager plans develops and implements marketing strategies to promote a company's products or services. This position is responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, identifying target audiences, and measuring the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing marketing strategies and plans: Creating comprehensive approaches and action plans to achieve marketing objectives and goals, outlining the steps and tactics needed for successful implementation.

Implementing marketing campaigns and activities: Executing the planned marketing initiatives, such as advertising, promotions, and events, to reach the target audience and drive desired outcomes.

Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitors: Observing and evaluating changes in the market and competitors' activities to gain insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Managing the marketing budget: Handling and controlling the financial resources allocated for marketing efforts to ensure efficient utilization and maximum return on investment.

Coordinating with cross-functional teams for product launches and promotions: Collaborating with various departments within the organization to ensure smooth and effective product launches and promotional activities.

Tracking and evaluating marketing campaign performance: Measuring the effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns through data analysis and performance metrics to optimize future strategies.

Overseeing brand management and consistency: Supervising the branding efforts and ensuring all marketing materials and communications align with the brand's identity and values.

Training and mentoring marketing team members: Providing guidance, support, and knowledge transfer to team members to enhance their marketing skills and foster professional growth.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Public relations and media management: The strategic communication and handling of relationships between an organization and the public or media to maintain a positive image and reputation.

Event planning and coordination: Organizing and managing events ensures all aspects are well-arranged and executed smoothly.

Partnerships and Vendor Management: Managing relationships with external partners and vendors to establish mutually beneficial collaborations and ensure smooth business operations.

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) implementation and management: The adoption and supervision of software systems and strategies to effectively manage and maintain customer relationships, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Industry networking and staying updated with the latest marketing trends: Engaging with professionals and peers within the industry to build connections, exchange information, and keep abreast of the most recent developments and trends in marketing.

Oversee the company's online presence: Monitoring and managing the company's digital footprint, including websites, social media, and other online platforms, to maintain a positive brand image and engage with the target audience effectively.

Answer the main phone line and respond to inquiries (with RingCentral access).

SKILLS:

Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels

Excellent communication skills

Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field

Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
