Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Marketing and Social Media Director to lead our marketing department. This individual will possess a proven skill set in storyboarding, video editing, and strategic content creation. The ideal candidate is not just a creative force but also a strategic leader capable of managing a team, driving results, and elevating our brand's presence across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the marketing department, overseeing day-to-day operations, setting goals, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality work on time and within budget.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals and drive growth. This includes brand development, social media strategies, and content marketing.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling content across all platforms, with hands-on involvement in storyboarding and video editing when necessary. Ensure all content reflects the brand’s voice and engages the target audience.
- Storyboarding & Video Editing: Utilize your expertise in storyboarding and video editing to create and guide the production of high-impact visual content, including property tours, brand videos, and client testimonials.
- Social Media Management: Lead the development and execution of social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Analyze performance metrics to optimize content and strategies continually.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop tea
- Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Ensure that campaigns are cohesive, data-driven, and aligned with overall business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with real estate agents, vendors, and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.
- Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Monitor expenses and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably within the real estate or a related industry.
- Proven track record of managing and leading a marketing team to achieve measurable results.
- Strong skills in storyboarding and video editing, with a portfolio that showcases your creative and technical expertise.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing for ROI.
- Familiarity with the Charleston real estate market is a plus.
