Our client is a school tutoring business that helps students of all abilities achieve their goals through a mix of small group and 1:1 tutoring as well as through publishing study guides.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Assistant / Social Media specialist to join our client on a full-time basis, working remotely within the Australian time zone. This role will collaborate closely with our Graphic Designer to execute marketing strategies, coordinate content pipelines, and manage our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with expertise in B2C marketing, lead generation, and social media management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Coordinate content pipelines with the Graphic Designer to ensure timely creation and delivery of marketing materials.
- Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including scheduling posts, boosting content, and responding to comments and reviews.
- Monitor social media trends and insights, analyse performance metrics, and optimise strategies to improve engagement and reach.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement SEM, SEO, and paid social media campaigns.
- Assist in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to inform marketing strategies.
- Provide general assistance and support to the marketing team as needed to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2C environment.
- Formal training in marketing, with a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of SEM, SEO, and paid social media fundamentals.
- Experience in social media management, including scheduling posts, boosting content, and engaging with followers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good time management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- Design skills in at least Canva are desirable but not essential.
Work Schedule:
Full-time (8 hour/day) from Monday to Friday
