Manufacturing Cost Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales account managers by providing accurate and competitive quotes for custom machined and sheet metal parts.

The Manufacturing Cost Estimator will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements, assess production costs, and contribute to the development of winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with sales account managers to understand customer requirements and project specifications.

- Analyze drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents to determine the manufacturing processes, materials, and labor required for each project.

- Utilize cost estimating software and tools to calculate production costs, taking into account factors such as materials, labor, overhead, and machine time.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and supplier costs to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to gather necessary information for cost analysis.

- Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
