Hi there,
We're looking for a Figma to Elementor web developer for our web development/design agency. Please read the below job description carefully before applying.
Looking forward to your application!
-Art, Owner at Consensus Creative
*ABOUT US:*
- We're a web development, design, branding and SEO agency based in Toronto, Canada.
- Our clients are small businesses and non profits in US and Canada.
- You can check out our website for more info:
*TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT*: We're looking for a freelancer who is willing to take on client projects for web development (mostly Figma to Elementor projects). This is not a full-time employment. You must be comfortable taking jobs on an ad hoc basis. However, as we grow our agency and as long as you do a great job, you might potentially be offered a full-time employment later this year.
*COMPENSATION*: We are looking to pay between $
We currently get around one new web design/dev client a month (but we're looking to increase that with a new marketing campaign to at least 2-3 a month), so you will be making a good $ amount for the amount of work required. This is mostly static websites with no additional plugins or custom code needed, but if a project is more complex, we would need JetEngine/ACF and custom code as necessary.
*WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR*:
1. Your development skills must be amazing. We're looking for a *senior* developer, not a junior or intermediate. Our clients pay us well and we will compensate you well, but you need to be very experienced. Your job will mostly consist of converting Figma designs our designer creates into interactive WP Elementor sites.
2. You ***must*** specialize in Elementor web development on WordPress. We're not looking for a generalist who knows Framer, Webflow, Wix Studio, and 10 other tools on a surface level, we're looking for a WP Elementor guy or gal who knows Elementor in and out and only works with Elementor for the past few years.
3. You should have an amazing portfolio of developed sites, with at least a few for service-based businesses in Canada/US, as these are our typical clients.
4. Your English has to be good and you must be comfortable with having Zoom calls with me to quickly make edits to client sites, when needed (maybe once every couple of months, usually we just use Google Chats for all communication and do Zoom calls only for more difficult projects).
5. Knowledge of Bricks is preferred. We do 100% of our development in Elementor now, but we might start using Bricks for some higher end client projects. However, this is not completely necessary.
*WORK HOURS/EXPECTATIONS:*
1. You are free to work during Filipino day time hours or whenever you like, no need to work during the night, although sometimes we might need you during Filipino evening time.
2. You must have enough free time to do the work quickly, and make client's revisions within 1-2 business days.
3. You should be willing to do a paid test job if you are shortlisted. I will shortlist a few candidates and will give them a mini test project.
*WHAT WE PROVIDE FOR YOU:*
1. $350-$800 compensation for each website developmment project ($500-$600 for a typical website), rates are negotiable based on your portfolio quality as well.
2. Flexible work hours, as long as you do the requested revisions within 1-2 days, preferably one day.
3. Potential for full-time employment later this year, if interested.
4. Clear instructions for each project. Our clients fill out a very comprehensive questionnaire, which you will have access to (all their preferences are written down, so you know exactly what to do).
