Looking for a 2-d animator for a fast growing YouTube channel!

Hey everyone,

We're a medium sized YouTube channel that is looking to expand into the animation niche, and as such I'm looking for an animator to join my team.

We're specifically looking for a 2-d animator and video editor. We will be going for a style similar to that seen in this channel https://www.youtube.com/@OverSimplified , but precise style is not entirely decided. It will be "rough" cartoon like or stick figure like at the very least. The channel will be a mix of science and history and as such strong grasp of English is necessary.

Your role will be to handle all things related to the video editing and animation of the videos, which will be released on a bi-weekly schedule, which will then possibly moving to a weekly schedule. If successful this role could also expand to other channels. This is a team effort and as such you'll also have a say in creative vision.

What I am looking for the ideal applicant is:

- Strong animation and video editing abilities
- Good work ethic and able to follow deadlines and instructions
- Strong creative vision and story boarding abilities
- Be able to do a minimum of one 15-minute video per week
- Very strong English ability so that you can understand the scripts completely (scientific jargon will likely be used)
- Proficient research ability so that if you don't have knowledge on part of a script you're able to find out what it's referring to
