Local SEO Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Local SEO Specialist to join our team full-time. In this role, you’ll take ownership of optimizing our clients' local online presence to improve search visibility and drive results. If you’re passionate about local SEO, meticulous about data, and love improving rankings, this role is for you.

???? What You’ll Do

As a Local SEO Specialist, you’ll manage and optimize local search strategies for clients. Here’s what your responsibilities will include:
1. Local SEO Setup and NAP Management ?????
Complete the NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) Info Workbook with the client’s business information.
Research competitors and fill out the Competition Analysis template.
Ensure consistency across all local directories and aggregator profiles (e.g., Yellowpages, Yelp).

2. Google Business Profile (GBP) Optimization ????
Research and select main and subcategories for the GBP using tools like Pleper and Local Falcon.
Create a comprehensive GBP Content Template, including:
GBP profile name and description focusing on main keywords.
Service and product descriptions.
Scheduled GBP posts using FAQ-related keyword searches.
Implement GBP optimizations, including:
Updating name, description, services, and hours.
Adding local landing page URLs, social profiles, images, and posts.
Managing Q&A responses.

3. Local Rank Tracking ????
Set up local map tracking using Local Falcon and BrightLocal.
Generate scan reports for target keywords in specified areas.

4. Citation Management ?????
Track and purchase missing citations through tools like Loganix.
Ensure citation accuracy and consistency across all platforms.

5. Weekly Local SEO Maintenance ????
Review Management:
Respond to positive reviews with ChatGPT-generated responses.
Flag and manage negative reviews, including disputes with Google if needed.

Rankings Check:
Monitor rankings in Local Falcon and BrightLocal weekly.
Make title adjustments to include main keywords if rankings slip.

Content Posting:
Create GBP posts for new blog posts or YouTube videos using ChatGPT summaries.

? What You Bring to the Table

Proven experience in Local SEO and managing Google Business Profiles.
Strong familiarity with tools like BrightLocal, Local Falcon, and Loganix.
Experience conducting competitive research and keyword analysis for local search.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills for occasional client interaction.

Experience using tools like Pleper for category analysis.
Familiarity with ChatGPT for content creation and review management.
Knowledge of multi-location business optimization for local SEO.
Background in citation tracking and aggregator profile optimization.
