Level Environment Designer & Game Tester (Unity) – Nanomancy: Essence Reborn
We are looking for a Level Environment Designer & Game Tester to join our team in developing Nanomancy: Essence Reborn, an immersive sci-fi action game centered around advanced nanotechnology. This role requires a keen eye for level composition, an understanding of art direction and gameplay flow, and the ability to test and refine game environments.
Responsibilities:
-Level Design & Object Placement – Create visually engaging and gameplay-balanced environments by strategically placing game objects, structures, and interactive elements.
-Art & Gameplay Integration – Work closely with artists and designers to ensure levels align with the game's artistic vision and mechanics.
-Optimization & Performance – Ensure levels are optimized for smooth performance across various platforms.
-Game Testing & QA – Playtest levels, identify issues, and provide detailed feedback on gameplay experience, mechanics, and potential improvements.
-Collaboration – Work with developers, artists, and designers to create seamless and immersive gameplay experiences.
Requirements:
- Experience in Level Design – Strong understanding of level composition, lighting, and environmental storytelling.
- Unity Proficiency – Hands-on experience with Unity’s level design tools and asset placement.
- Artistic & Technical Skills – Knowledge of environmental aesthetics, modular design, and optimization techniques.
- Game Testing & Feedback – Ability to test and analyze gameplay, identify bugs, and suggest improvements.
- Problem-Solving & Communication – Ability to work in a team, adapt to feedback, and iterate on designs efficiently.
Bonus Skills:
-Experience with shader programming or visual effects.
-Familiarity with multiplayer level design principles.
-Scripting knowledge for interactive elements.
