Hi folks, we make a digital reading app for lawyers, so we're hiring someone to help teach lawyers how to use our product. The position is basically customer success, but with a heavy focus on doing one on one training webinars of our app. Requirements:
- Great communication: You'll be teaching busy lawyers how to use a beautiful but advanced piece of software, you need to use language they will be comfortable with, and be clear.
- Empathy: You'll need to dynamically see where the lawyers are clear or struggling, and adjust your presentation accordingly.
- Improvisational: Again, the lawyer will ask you questions relating to how to use our product in their own workflow, and you'll need to figure out answers on the fly. You need to be smart and figure out solutions quickly.
- Comfortable with different dialects of English: You'll be teaching lawyers in the US, India, EU, and all over the world, so fluent English is a must, as is comfort understanding different accents.
- Legal background: You'll be teaching lawyers, and so it'll be easier if you've been a lawyer as well. You'll need to brush up on some of the vernacular differences between law in different geographies (US vs UK, for instance), but the most important thing is just that you have that shared legal background.
- Excellent doing product demos: While the training is more than a product demo, it's certainly not less! You need to become an absolute expert in our app and be able to use it very, very smoothly, so the lawyer feels comfortable that you really know what you're doing.
Ideally, this will be a full time job, but part time may be negotiable for exceptional candidates.
