JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for legal work and tenant collections? Join our dynamic Real Estate and Laundry Equipment businesses as a Legal Administrative Assistant, where you will play a key role in supporting our tenant collections and legal administrative processes. Experience with U.S. housing court, small claims processes, and tenant collections is preferred but not required. Knowledge of Appfolio is also appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily tenant collections, including email and text communications through Appfolio.
• Prepare and update monthly reports on tenant collections, evictions, and legal actions.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets with information related to fees, judgments, docketing, subpoenas, and other legal filings.
• Respond to tenant inquiries via email and text, addressing any legal concerns or questions.
• Support U.S. housing court and small claims processes by assisting with the preparation and organization of legal documents.
• Ensure accurate reporting in Appfolio and assist with tenant collections and related legal proceedings.
• Document and update business processes related to tenant collections and legal policies.
• Collaborate with legal teams on eviction procedures and tenant dispute resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience in tenant collections and U.S. housing court or small claims processes is preferred but not required.
• A legal background in areas such as tenant collections, judgments, and subpoenas is highly valued.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets for managing legal documents and tracking deadlines is a plus.
• Experience with Appfolio or similar property management software is appreciated but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in managing legal documents and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, particularly in professional and legal contexts.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
