Lead QA Tester

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Team Lead to establish and oversee our QA processes, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product experience for our users. As the QA Team Lead, you will manage a small team of QA testers, coordinate testing workflows, and collaborate closely with Product Managers (PMs) and Engineers to identify and resolve product issues efficiently. This role is critical to maintaining our product’s reliability and user satisfaction in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a QA team to support product testing across workflows.
- Workflow Testing: Design and execute comprehensive testing workflows to identify and document bugs, inconsistencies, and potential improvements in the app.
- Issue Tracking and Reporting: Consolidate team findings, prioritize issues, and provide actionable insights to PMs and Engineers to enhance product polish and usability.
- Process Development: Establish and refine QA processes and tools to ensure consistent testing standards across the team.
- Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between QA testers, PMs, and Engineers, fostering strong communication to align priorities and address critical issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging QA methodologies to continuously improve the team’s effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building or leading QA teams preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using issue tracking and testing tools (e.g., ClickUp, JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with agile development processes is a plus.
- Prior experience in SaaS or app development environments is a bonus.
