Landscape Draftsman

Responsibilities:
• Using CAD software to create detailed plans and visual representations of outdoor spaces, including hardscapes, softscapes, irrigation systems, and drainage.
• Analyzing environmental reports to understand site conditions such as drainage, elevation, and sun exposure.
• Collaborating with landscape architects, designers, and project managers to understand design intent and project goals.
• Coordinating with surveyors and engineers for site measurements and elevations.
• Maintaining accurate and organized documentation of all drawings, updates, and modifications.
• Ensuring that designs meet environmental regulations and project budgets.
• Revising drawings based on feedback from clients, architects, and engineers.


Qualifications
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, drafting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience as a Landscape Draftsman or in a similar role specifically within the United States.
• Knowledge of U.S. landscape design principles, including grading, drainage, and irrigation systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp) and other relevant drafting and rendering software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Certification in landscape drafting or architecture is a plus.
