We are seeking a Data Automation Specialist to revolutionize our short-term rental business processes by building dashboards, streamlining operations, and automating manual tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools like Looker Studio,
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dashboard Creation & KPI Tracking:
- Build dashboards in Looker Studio and other tools to monitor KPIs, including:
- Guest review feedback.
- Daily portfolio occupancy.
- Revenue for rolling 7-day, 15-day, 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day periods.
- Average Daily Rate (ADR).
- Booking lead time.
- Return guest percentage.
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
- Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Automated monthly revenue reports.
- Inquiry conversion rate.
- Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR).
- Daily revenue graphs.
- Guest favorite metrics (e.g., frequently praised amenities or features).
- Scraped data from Airbnb, VRBO,
- Total available units to book.
- Bedroom counts.
- Average price points.
2. Workflow Automation:
- Automate and streamline manual processes using
- Integrate OpenPhone and WhatsApp messages into Slack for improved communication workflows.
- Develop automated cleaning schedules and reminders for the cleaning team.
- Automate guest messaging for maintenance updates, trip reminders, and other communications.
3. API Connections & Advanced Formulas:
- Create and maintain API connections between various software platforms.
- Use advanced formulas in Google Sheets to process data and support automations.
4. Problem Solving & Operational Improvements:
- Identify operational pain points and propose creative, scalable solutions.
- Automate inventory and supply updates for seamless restocking.
- Implement reminders and task automations to optimize workflows.
5. Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with tea
- Document processes and train the team on implemented automations and tools.
Requirements:
- Proven experience creating dashboards with tools like Looker Studio,
- Advanced skills in automation platforms like
- Expertise in API integrations and Google Sheets formulas.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Familiarity with short-term rental operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to present solutions clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- A portfolio or work samples relevant to the responsibilities outlined.
