Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor with expertise in DaVinci Resolve to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing, color grading, and motion graphics, with the ability to deliver polished, professional videos tailored for YouTube.

This part-time role is perfect for someone who is proficient in working with Log footage (H.264, H.265, ProRes) or BRAW, and has a strong eye for detail, storytelling, and technical precision.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing:

Edit raw footage to create cohesive and engaging videos optimized for YouTube, following project briefs and brand guidelines.
Add chapter titles, text overlays, and motion graphics as needed.
Color Grading:

Perform advanced color correction and grading, especially for Log footage (H.264, H.265, ProRes) or BRAW, to enhance the visual appeal of videos.
Ensure consistent color tones and match footage across projects.
Text and Chapter Titles:

Create and integrate professional-looking text, chapter titles, and lower thirds to improve viewer engagement.
Ensure all text elements align with the brand's visual identity.
Audio Sync and Enhancement:

Sync video with audio tracks and clean up background noise or inconsistencies.
Enhance audio quality and balance sound levels to meet YouTube standards.
File Management and Exporting:

Organize and manage project files, ensuring proper naming conventions and folder structures.
Export videos in required formats and resolutions optimized for YouTube upload.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills:
Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for video editing, color grading, and text overlays.
Strong experience in working with Log footage (H.264, H.265, ProRes) or BRAW.
Knowledge of YouTube-specific video requirements (e.g., resolutions, formats, and aspect ratios).
Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
