Job Title: Social Media Video Editor & Content Creator for Basketball Research (Reels, Carousels, TikTok-Style Videos)

I am looking for a skilled and creative social media video editor and content creator to help me grow my personal brand and establish myself as a thought leader in international basketball migration. This role is ideal for someone who loves basketball, storytelling, and creating visually appealing, engaging, and informative social media content (Instagram Reels, TikTok-style videos, and Carousels).

This is a part-time, remote position for the end of February-March 2025, with potential for long-term work if the collaboration is successful.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Create & Edit Video Content:
Take my existing video clips (interviews, speeches, presentations) and edit them into short-form Instagram Reels, TikTok-style videos, and YouTube Shorts
Add engaging captions, subtitles, transitions, effects, and music to make the videos scroll-stopping and engaging
Repurpose longer videos (from my talks, podcasts, or YouTube) into bite-sized, digestible clips for social media
-Create Instagram Carousels & Infographics:
Design visually appealing educational carousels that break down complex topics into easy-to-understand slides
Use engaging fonts, colors, and visuals to make carousels stand out
Ensure consistency in branding
-Do Research on International Players & Basketball Migration Trends (Optional but Preferred):
Find top international players in March Madness and create short TikTok-style clips about their journeys
Research key stats and trends related to international basketball migration
Help organize key information for social media posts

REQUIREMENTS:
-Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
-Experience creating TikTok-style videos and Instagram Reels
-Ability to design professional-looking carousels (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
-Strong understanding of social media trends in sports and basketball
-Excellent research skills (Preferred but not required)
-Great communication skills and ability to work independently
