Job Title: Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android) – GLP-1 Medication Tracking App

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile App Developer (or team) to develop a GLP-1 Medication Tracking App, similar to Shotsy – GLP-1 Shot Tracker, for iOS and Android. This app will help patients track their GLP-1 medication dosage, monitor side effects, log health metrics, and integrate with Apple Health and/or Google Fit.

Key Responsibilities:
App Development & Architecture
Develop a cross-platform (iOS and Android) medication tracking app using Flutter, React Native, or native Swift/Kotlin.
Implement secure data storage to protect user health data and ensure compliance with privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA-compliant frameworks).
Ensure smooth performance with an intuitive UI/UX for users of all ages.
Core Features Development
Shot Tracking: Users should be able to log GLP-1 injections (with reminders for next dose).
Side Effects Logging: Users should track and log side effects for analysis.
Health Metrics Tracking: Users should log weight, hydration, calorie intake, and protein consumption.
Analytics Dashboard: Users should view progress using charts/graphs and reports.
Apple Health & Google Fit Integration: Sync health data with these platforms.
Push Notifications & Alerts: Send reminders for next dose and health tracking updates.
Testing & Deployment
Conduct thorough testing for bug-free performance before launch.
Optimize app for battery efficiency and speed.
Deploy the app on the Apple App Store & Google Play Store.
Provide documentation for future maintenance and updates.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Mobile App Development: Experience with Flutter, React Native, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android).
Backend Development Experience: Firebase, AWS Amplify, or custom backend with Node.js/Python/Django.
Experience in Health Tracking Apps or Medication Tracking Apps (preferred).
API Integration Experience: Apple Health, Google Fit, and secure storage solutions.
Strong UI/UX Skills for a user-friendly, simple, and engaging app.
Experience in HIPAA/GDPR Compliance (preferred but not required).
Soft Skills
Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to suggest innovative solutions.
Good communication skills in English.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Prior experience developing health-related apps or wearable-integrated apps.
Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and reporting tools.
Knowledge of subscription-based monetization models (e.g., in-app purchases for premium features).
