Job Overview
EETech is seeking a skilled Java Developer (Experience in Ecommerce, Api development and Enterprise backend systems) to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in headless commerce implementations, API development, and backend integrations to enhance our commerce platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust solutions that meet business needs and ensure high performance and security.

Key Responsibilities
• Headless Commerce Implementation:
o Architect and implement Ecommerce, Api development and Enterprise backend systems).
o Develop custom APIs to connect modern frontend interfaces with backend services.
• API & Backend Development:
o Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that support scalable commerce functionalities.
o Ensure backend solutions are robust, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Collaboration & Technical Leadership:
o Work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to align technical solutions with business
requirements.
o Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile planning sessions.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization:
o Identify, document, and resolve technical issues related to API performance and backend integrations.
o Continuously improve code quality and system architecture.
• Documentation & Best Practices:
o Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including API specifications, architecture diagrams, and
deployment guides.
o Adhere to industry best practices and EETech’s development standards.

Qualifications
• Education & Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
o Demonstrable experience in Java development, with a strong focus on headless implementations.

• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar.
o Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and backend frameworks.
o Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies is a plus.
o Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
o Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
o Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote contractor role.

• Preferred Certifications:
o Certifications in Java Development, API development, or related fields are advantageous.
