As we grow, we’re seeking a highly motivated individual who combines a passion for design with a consultative sales approach to join our team as an Interior Design Sales Specialist.

Position Overview
This unique role blends the artistry of interior design with the strategy of sales. You’ll act as the first point of contact for inbound leads, conducting consultative calls where your expertise and enthusiasm will shine as you inspire potential clients. Through thoughtful conversations and creative problem-solving, you’ll showcase high-level design concepts and tailor solutions to meet clients’ needs and onboard them as clients.

From clever storage innovations to renovation plans, your ability to bring the design vision to life will be crucial in building trust and excitement. You’ll also support the sales process by creating proposals, sharing design visuals, and crafting compelling marketing emails to keep prospects engaged and moving toward closure.

You will work with senior team members to ensure projects align with designer availability, and to plan for busy periods. Periodically you may need to execute interior design projects as well.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Consultations: Conduct initial and follow-up calls with inbound leads to understand their needs, excite them about our design capabilities, and provide expert guidance on high-level design solutions.
2. Solution Presentations: Share concepts, preliminary designs, and proposals that align with the client’s goals, showcasing our team’s creativity and expertise.
3. Marketing Engagement: Craft compelling emails and follow-ups that engage leads and reinforce the value of our services.
4. Closing Sales: Confidently guide clients through the decision-making process to secure their partnership with our firm.
5. Design Development: Collaborate with the design team to produce visuals, mockups, or tailored proposals that address the client’s specific challenges.

What We’re Looking For
1. Sales Acumen: Proven ability to engage clients in a consultative sales process, identifying needs and building trust.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication, with the ability to excite and inspire clients.
3. Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and propose innovative design solutions that captivate potential clients.
4. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups while staying detail-oriented.
5. Passion: A genuine love for interior design and creating exceptional client experiences.

Compensation
Compensation in post is inclusive of base salary plus commissions. However, services sold are 4-5 figures, so commissions can push this number far higher. We generate a minimum of 40 leads per month, and close 5+ clients per month, which would be the initial quota for the sales rep.

Working Hours: 9-5pm, with flexibility outside those hours given leads come in at all times.
