Installation Manager

Job Summary
The Installation Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of branding and signage installation projects. This role involves managing project scope, timelines, resources, and quality standards, ensuring that installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations. The Installation Manager will coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients while driving continuous improvement and maintaining high levels of safety and performance.

Job Responsibilities

Scope, Planning & Delivery
• Define the project scope, tasks, and timelines in collaboration with the Project Manager (PM) and stakeholders.
• Assist in drafting clear project scope documents using CAD for quoting, planning, and design purposes. This includes details on tools, equipment, substrates, methods, and measurements.
• Manage scope variations through the formal change management process and update relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to project planning, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are agreed upon with the PM.
• Collaborate with the PM on cost engineering and budget management exercises for each project.
• Oversee a team of installers, helpers, warehouse coordinators, and deliveries, ensuring daily scheduling, punctuality, and issue resolution.
• Ensure that all installations meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Secure necessary permits and ensure site access requirements are met before installation begins.
• Maintain adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the installation process and rectify any concerns immediately.
Governance and Quality Assurance
• Conduct risk management and ensure that project risks are identified and mitigated, with updates to the PM.
• Oversee issue management, addressing project challenges proactively and reporting to the PM.
• Ensure projects are delivered to client specifications, with a focus on quality and timelines.
• Monitor project progress and deliverables, updating stakeholders with daily/weekly reports.
• Ensure compliance with project budgets and input into budget maintenance as needed.
• Implement best practices, tips, and methods for improving project execution and internal processes.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure proper storage for all project-related materials.
• Lead safety adherence, ensuring team members wear PPE and follow safety protocols.
Client & Stakeholder Management
