Illustrator that can also do Virtual Assistant tasks

Kids Cartoon Academy is a fast-growing online art education company that helps kids boost their confidence and creativity through fun, engaging cartoon drawing lessons. We've grown from scratch to serve thousands of students and are on a mission to make art accessible and transformative for kids everywhere.

Position Overview
We're looking for a talented and passionate Illustrator with virtual assistant experience to join our team! In this role, you'll use your artistic skills to create engaging visuals and support our young artists. When there’s no creative work, we would love for you to also help with important behind-the-scenes tasks to keep things running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves art, enjoys helping others, and is organized and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities
1. Illustration and Design:
Create how-to-draw tutorials (PDFs) based on recorded drawing lessons.
Design outlines and printable coloring pages.
Develop eye-catching graphics for social media, the website, and ads.
Maintain and update logos and branding across all platforms.
Provide art critiques and feedback to students (ages 6-14).

2. Virtual Assistance:
Update classroom presentation slides.
Maintain and update membership records.
Schedule pre-made social media posts.
Moderate discussions in our online community.
Assist with moderating live class chats (optional).
Process member cancellations and pauses.
Manage community channels and add members to groups.
Provide basic email/customer support.
Upload content to Kajabi and YouTube.
Add and update weekly introductory videos.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various tasks.

Requirements
Essential Skills:
Excellent drawing foundations (shapes, proportions, line work, color, shading, perspective, character design).
Strong understanding of graphic design principles.
Proficiency with design tools like Photoshop or Procreate (or similar).
Willingness to learn and use Canva efficiently.
Excellent communication and feedback skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to follow instructions and learn new software/tools.
Ability to document processes and procedures.

Bonus Skills:
Experience with virtual assistant tasks.
Familiarity with online platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Kajabi, and YouTube.
Availability to help moderate live classes (optional).

Position Details
Rate: WIll be based on experience and skills
Hours: Starting as part-time (15-30 hours per week), with the potential to grow into full-time (40 hours per week)
