Profitable Tradie are on the prowl for a new World Class Virtual IT & Web Services Specialist
We are a NZ based Business Coaching company with an international reputation for making a difference in the lives of the owners of plumbing, electrical and similar construction-based service businesses across New Zealand, Australia, and North America.
We are looking for an IT & Web Services Specialist who is passionate about technology and problem-solving. As part of our team, you will ensure the smooth operation of all tech-related functions, focusing on hardware, software, website issues, customizations, and more. Your expertise will help us maintain cutting-edge systems while assisting non-technical users in navigating technology challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Fix technical issues with hardware, software, networks, printers, and other devices to keep things running smoothly.
Account Management: Create and manage user accounts, reset passwords, and adjust permissions when needed.
Software Deployment & Support: Install, update, and fix software, while helping users with any software-related problems.
Web Development & Maintenance: Build and maintain websites and web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies to improve performance and user experience.
Training & Documentation: Train users on new software and hardware, and document troubleshooting procedures.
Cybersecurity Awareness: Teach users about security best practices and help enforce security rules.
Project Management: Work with others to plan and manage IT and web projects, including timelines, budgets, and progress updates.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to keep technology systems running well.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows & macOS), networks, and software.
Web Development Skills: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages like PHP or Python.
CMS Experience: Familiar with Content Management Systems (CMS) and web technologies.
Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
Communication Skills: Clear in explaining technical concepts to non-technical people.
Project Management: Good at organizing and managing multiple projects at once.
Interpersonal Skills: Team player, with the ability to train and support other users.
Adaptability: Willing to learn and stay updated on new tech trends.
Qualifications:
• 5 years’ experience with IT support, web development, and content management.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for staying current with technology trends and advancements.
