Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Services Consultant to join our Managed Services Provider (MSP) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and end-user support. As an IT consultant, you will work with multiple clients, providing proactive IT solutions, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing IT environments to improve business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Client IT Support & Management:

Act as the primary technical contact for assigned clients, providing remote and on-site IT support.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across various client environments.
Implement IT solutions to improve efficiency and security for businesses.

Network & Infrastructure Management:

Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability.
Implement best practices for data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:
Assess and improve security posture for clients, implementing firewalls, endpoint protection, and access controls.
Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and recommend security improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or GDPR as required.

Cloud Services & Virtualization:
Deploy and manage cloud solutions, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Azure/AWS environments.
Set up virtual machines, VPNs, and remote desktop environments for clients.
Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability.

Project Management & Implementation:
Lead IT projects such as network upgrades, cloud migrations, and system integrations.
Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver IT solutions on time and within budget.
Provide technical recommendations to clients based on their business needs.

Documentation & Client Training:
Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Train end-users on best practices for cybersecurity, software usage, and IT policies.
Provide technical reports and insights to help clients make informed IT decisions.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT consulting, MSP environments, or IT support roles.

Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, networking, and cloud solutions.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and cybersecurity tools.
Knowledge of scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification
ITIL Certification for IT service management
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple client environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to IT service delivery.
