Hospitality Specialist for Short-Term Rentals

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly attentive, organized, and trustworthy individual who goes above and beyond to grow with us in our evolving short-term rental (STR) business. The ideal candidate does not need prior STR experience but must demonstrate drive, ambition, and enthusiasm, along with strong attention to detail.
This is a full-time position operating in Eastern Time Zone (EST) hours. The successful candidate will take full ownership of their tasks, exhibit leadership qualities, and be an outstanding team player. Our goal is to onboard someone who will make a significant impact on our small team and become an integral part of our operations.
The position starts ASAP with a one-month paid trial period. At the end of the trial, we will mutually dUpgrade to see actual info on proceeding with a formal contract.

About Us:
We are two clients with two separate STR businesses that have been collaborating for four years. Together, we have streamlined our procedures and processes to operate efficiently. Our current team consists of three rockstar VAs who work seamlessly together, and we are looking for another dedicated VA to complement our team culture.
We currently manage a growing portfolio of nine properties and strive to provide top-notch hospitality for families on vacation. We prioritize trustworthiness, resourcefulness, and ambition. If these values align with yours, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a true co-host, understanding the properties as if they were your own.
- Provide top-tier guest service and understand their experiences.
- Manage property issues and handle open maintenance tickets.
- Handle all guest communications promptly and professionally.
- Ensure smooth transactions related to guest bookings and payment processing.
- Communicate with booking platforms and resolve guest issues as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure properties remain in top condition year-round.
- Perform weekly time audits to evaluate efficiency.
- Work with TimeProof for time tracking.
- Collaborate with the operations manager and fellow co-host VAs.
- Respond to all guest communications within 15 minutes.
- Address and/or close all open maintenance tickets within 24 hours by coordinating with vendors.
- Complete a special step in the application: Attach a photo of a place you most wish to visit in response to the question, "Is there anything else you’d like to add?"

Requirements:
- 4-year college degree (Graduate degrees are a bonus).
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong typing skills, including speed and accuracy.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Critical reading skills.
- Ability to multi-task and see tasks through to completion.
- Noise-canceling headphones.
- Willingness to work US EST hours (starting at 7 AM EST) and weekends.

Hours & Compensation:
- Full-time position working Eastern Time Zone hours.
- Starting pay: $5-7/hour during the trial period, with potential for increases based on performance.
