JOB OVERVIEW

— WHO WE ARE —

We are a small group of problem-solving, photoshop hacking, status-quo bucking, out-of-the-box thinking, genius digital gangsters breaking out world-leading YouTube content with a vengeance and the passion of a thousand suns (covered in Tabasco sauce)…

More specifically, we’re the second-largest YouTube Education company in the world, and we teach people how to grow their YouTube channels by creating (1) free educational YouTube content, and (2) paid online courses

Our team currently consists of 6 rockstars. Check out our channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCR5k7bm0qgpP7-QX1uIx7cQ?view_as=subscriber

— WHAT WE‘RE LOOKING FOR —

We’re looking for remote, highly-experienced YouTube Thumbnail Designers who aspire to be the best in the world at what they do. Period.

If hired, we will need you to create thumbnails for our videos on request. We usually require 2-3 thumbnails to be designed for the same video. Our goal is to create 2 videos per week, however, we are planning on revamping our old thumbnails soon and we also want to increase our posting frequency. Long story short, lots of thumbnails that need designing!

Our team culture is always supportive and encouraging, but you should also expect to be held to an exceptionally high standard because videos are extremely reliant on the thumbnails that represent them.

You should also expect to analyse the performance analytics of thumbnails after the videos have gone live, since that’s how we learn whether it was a good thumbnail or a bad thumbnail.

— YOUR KPIs —

Your performance will be graded using the following KPIs:

1 Thumbnail Click Thru Rate in correlation with views going up, which we’ll be able to see in our YouTube analytics.

2 The number of revisions the thumbnails you create edit require before being finalised (the less, the better)

3 The amount of time takes you to create a thumbnail (the less, the better)

— TO APPLY —

If you're interested, please fill out this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfjys4JzYtcy2SLxgfJHW32xBkUiXDypdteMRR8aGnCNs8BAw/viewform?usp=sf_link No need for a CV or cover letter. It’s not the 1900s anymore.

Please note, you’ll be asked to create a trial thumbnail to prove your ability before we hire. We will not use this thumbnail, but it’s a non-negotiable in our hiring process.

Thank you for your consideration and best of luck on your job search!
