Health Care Recruiter (Direct Support Staff & Caregivers)
As a Health Care Recruiter specializing in sourcing full and part-time direct support staff and caregivers, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting qualified professionals to provide high-quality care for individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and other individuals in need of support services. Your role will focus on sourcing candidates for various direct support positions, including personal care aides, home health aides, and caregivers, ensuring that candidates meet both the specific job requirements and the compassionate nature required for these roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
Utilize job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, and networking to identify and attract qualified candidates for full and part-time direct support staff and caregiver positions. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess applicants’ experience, skills, and qualifications.
Job Postings & Advertising:
Create engaging and accurate job descriptions for open positions and post them on appropriate platforms. Monitor job listings and ensure they reach a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Applicant Management:
Maintain a database of candidates, track applicant progress, and ensure timely communication throughout the hiring process. Follow up with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure that all candidates meet regulatory and industry-specific requirements, including background checks, certifications, and training. Maintain accurate records of all hiring activities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with HR teams, hiring managers, and care facility managers to understand staffing needs and ensure that the most qualified candidates are hired quickly and effectively.
Onboarding Support:
Assist in the onboarding process by coordinating orientation sessions, helping new hires with necessary documentation, and ensuring they are properly prepared to start their roles.
Market Insights & Recruitment Strategies:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive compensation, and effective recruitment strategies. Offer recommendations to enhance recruitment efforts and improve the overall hiring process.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in healthcare, human services, or a related field.
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms and tools (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, certifications, and industry standards.
