Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Health Care Benefits and Eligibility Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients have access to the mental health services they need by navigating and managing health care benefits and eligibility processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Call insurance companies to verify client insurance eligiblity and benefits.
Evaluate and determine client eligibility for health care benefits.
Assist clients in understanding and accessing their health care benefits.
Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve any issues related to coverage and claims.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and eligibility determinations.
Provide education and support to clients regarding their health care options.
Stay informed about changes in health care policies and regulations that may affect client eligibility.
Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless integration of benefits and services.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in health care administration, psychology, or a related field.
Experience in health care benefits administration or a similar role.
Strong understanding of health care policies and insurance processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to cultural humility and serving marginalized communities.
Familiarity with mental health services and support systems is a plus.
