About Us:
Grace and Lace is a fast-growing women's fashion retail e-commerce brand that combines style and functionality. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions while managing sensitive employee data with the utmost confidentiality.

Position Overview:
The HR Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources administration, including payroll management, employee data handling, and compliance with US federal and state regulations. This person will be proficient in using HR tools, especially Gusto, and will play a key role in maintaining a positive and organized work environment. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in an HR lead role, handling sensitive employee details.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing through Gusto, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to employees.
- Handle and maintain sensitive information, including employee personal data, payroll records, state and federal agency account numbers, and contact information.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to employment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR matters, payroll, benefits, and company policies.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, and conducting initial interviews.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Ensure compliance with US federal and state employment laws, including filing necessary reports and documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to improve overall employee experience.
- Coordinate performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Provide administrative support for company-wide HR initiatives and ensure smooth execution of internal processes.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR lead role, handling all aspects of employee information and HR processes.
- Proficient in using Gusto and other HR management tools.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, US federal and state employment laws, and compliance procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with efficiency.
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Proven working experience as US HR Manager or other HR Executive role in a ecommerce, warehouse and distribution
setting
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay benefits, recruitment, training development etc.)
People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with US standards Human Resources metrics
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
- In-depth knowledge of US labor law and regulations
- Degree in Human Resources and certified US HR Practitioner preferred but not required.
- US-acknowledged certification’s like AIHR, HRCI, SHRM and the likes will be an advantage
