Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HCL Commerce Developer with expertise in headless implementation, API development, and backend integration to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our eCommerce platform while ensuring seamless API interactions and backend functionality.

Responsibilities

Design and implement headless commerce solutions using HCL Commerce.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.

Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless communication between backend services and UI components.

Optimize performance, security, and scalability of the eCommerce platform.

Work with microservices architecture and ensure smooth API management.

Implement best practices for data modeling, caching, and database interactions.

Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring system stability and uptime.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in HCL Commerce and API development.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in HCL Commerce development with a focus on headless implementations.

Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.

Experience working with microservices, cloud platforms, and database technologies.

Knowledge of GraphQL, OAuth, and authentication mechanisms.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Bonus Skills

Experience with front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular.

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of performance testing and optimization techniques.

Exposure to serverless architectures.
