Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and driven Video Editor who understands the social media landscape—especially on Instagram and TikTok—and is ready to craft compelling video content that captures the essence of our playful and innovative pet furniture. Your role will begin with an application challenge where you’ll edit raw footage into 5 creative videos inspired by our best-performing content. Show us your flair and data-savvy approach, and you could secure a full-time position at SeatMate.

Key Responsibilities
Application Challenge:

Receive raw footage from SeatMate and produce 5 unique video edits as part of your application.

Analyze our most viral content to incorporate winning creative elements into your edits.

Include examples of your most viral videos alongside your SeatMate submissions.

Submit your complete application via our Google Form.

Content Production:

Create up to 20 high-quality videos per week for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Leverage insights from social media data to continually refine your editing techniques and improve video performance.

Strategic Collaboration:

Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure your content aligns with SeatMate’s vibrant brand identity and overall strategy.

Utilize data analytics to understand trends, measure video performance, and optimize future content.

Additional Assets:

Experience with Meta Ads is a big plus.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of social media algorithms and trends to boost video reach.

Required Qualifications
Experience: Proven background as a video editor with a portfolio demonstrating viral social media content, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).

Digital Savvy: In-depth knowledge of social media algorithms and a passion for leveraging data to create engaging content.

Creativity & Speed: Ability to produce high volumes of innovative work under tight deadlines.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to collaboration.

Bonus: Experience with Meta Ads and a portfolio that includes viral video examples.
